Pyramids announces signing of Abdelrahman Magdy
Pyramids Club explained in its statement that the contract with Abdel Rahman Magdy came within the framework of the club’s plan to support the football team with the best elements in preparation for the new season, in which it will participate in many local and continental tournaments, and the beginning will be during the current month of September in the round of 32 of the African Champions League.
Eng. Mamdouh Eid, the club’s president, in cooperation with the contracting department headed by Captain Amr Bassiouni, succeeded in signing Abdel Rahman Magdy from Ismaily Club, to support the midfield and attack with a distinguished young player who possesses skill and experience.
Abdel Rahman Magdy was born on September 12, 1996, and is 26 years old. He started his career in the ranks of Tersana Club in the youth and junior sector before moving in 2017 to Ismaily Club, and continued with it until moving to Pyramids.
Abdel Rahman Magdy has been an international player since March 23, 2019, and has played two international matches for the Egyptian national team. He was a key player in the Egyptian national team winning the African Cup of Nations for Youth Under-23s in Egypt in 2019, and qualifying to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The deal for Abdelrahman Magdy is the second for Pyramids Club during the summer transfer window, after signing Youssef Ibrahim Obama from Zamalek Club, in a free transfer deal.
