viagramof – Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, Zamalek coach, indicated his team’s ability to make a comeback

viagramof – Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, Zamalek coach, indicated his team’s ability to return against Morocco’s RS Berkane in the second leg of the African Confederation Cup final, scheduled for next Sunday, at Cairo International Stadium.

Gomez said in his statements after the end of the match: “I am not happy with the way we started the match, and we conceded the second goal from a free kick, and both teams played well.”

Gomez added, saying: “I am not happy with the result. We prepared for this match to win and play good football, but we were not able to play good football for many reasons.”

He continued: “We gave the attacking duo freedom and they swapped places, but this made us create spaces. We did not play a bad match overall, and we did not take advantage of the opportunities we had in the first half.”

Wasel coach Zamalek: “We can control the ball in the second leg, but will RS Berkane allow us to gain space? This is what we will see in the match, and I believe that we have the ability to change the outcome of the match in the second half in Cairo.”

Gomez concluded by explaining that Zamalek must focus better and create opportunities in order to score and threaten RS Berkane’s goal in the second leg, pointing to the speedy start of preparation for the return match in order to achieve victory and clinch the title.
