Paris wastes two points on Reims ground
The scoring in the match, which was hosted by Stade de Reims, started with Japanese star Kaito Nakamura scoring for the home team in the 9th minute.
The goal came after Nakamura snatched the ball from inside the penalty area and fired a powerful shot into the Parisians’ net.
French star Ousmane Dembele managed to equalize for the Parisian team in the 68th minute of the match.
Dembele’s goal came after he followed up a cross by his teammate Joao Neves into the home team’s penalty area.
The players of both teams tried to score the winning goal in the remaining minutes of the match, but their attempts were unsuccessful, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Paris Saint-Germain is ranked first in the French League table with 13 points, while Reims is ranked fifth with 8 points.
Paris Saint-Germain will play the next round of the French League against Rennes next Friday at the Parc des Princes, while Reims will play at Angers next Sunday.
