viagramof – Nawaf Al-Aqidi, the goalkeeper of the first football team, has joined the club Saudi victory…by leaving the ranks of Al-Alamy to Al-Ettifaq Club, during the current summer transfer period, after contracting with the Brazilian Pinto.
The agreement did not request a contract with Al-Aqidi.
Khaled Al-Rasheed, a journalist for the Saudi sports newspaper, explained via his account on the social networking site “X” on Wednesday evening that there are no official negotiations yet between Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq to include Al-Aqidi.
The sports critic confirmed that Al-Ettifaq Club did not request Al-Aqidi’s services on loan for a year in the new season, noting that the Knight of Al-Dahna has become close to contracting with a foreign goalkeeper.
Al-Aqidi was out of the calculations of the Portuguese Luis Castro, the technical director of Al-Nassr team, last season, after the Saudi Football Federation decided to suspend the international goalkeeper.
The Professionalism and Players’ Status Committee of the Federation decided to suspend Al-Aqidi for 5 months, in addition to fining him 300 thousand Saudi riyals, due to his accusation by the Italian technical director Roberto Mancini, of evading the international call-up.
