Mohamed El-Shenawy said in his statements after the end of the national team’s match with Burkina Faso: “I thank the technical staff of the Egyptian national team for giving me confidence after an absence of 4 months.”
El-Shenawy continued: “I feel shocked that no one was keen to say (Thank God for your safety) to me after my return from injury. Everyone is just talking about who will be the primary and reserve goalkeeper.”
Haris added Egypt national team“There must be a welcome return for any player from injury, whether young or old, but I am not thinking about this matter currently. The most important thing for me is the national team and winning the match against Burkina Faso.”
He continued: “Any player needs support from the fans, and I thank the medical staff in the national team and Al-Ahly and anyone who stood by my side in order to return to injury and regain my normal level.”
