The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at German side Leipzig, coming from the French capital club Paris.
Max Eberl said in statements reported by Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specializing in transfer market news, via his account on the social networking site “X” about the Xavi Simons deal: “I brought him to Leipzig, we saw in the German League and in the Euro 2024 Championship that he is an excellent footballer.”
