viagramof – Connected Liverpool According to reports last week that they are moving to sign Japanese winger Takefusa Kubo from Real Sociedad, the Reds are looking for a new right winger in the market.

Kubo has a €60m release clause in his Real Sociedad contract, and the only way he can leave is if that clause is activated.

Liverpool could do that but at the moment they haven’t, while Real Sociedad president Joaquin Aperribay has confirmed that no clubs have contacted them regarding Kubo.

Real Sociedad president denies reports linking Liverpool with Kubo

“There is no problem, there are no negotiations with any club, we are in the market and anything can happen,” Jokin Aperibay said in his statements.

“But Taki is very happy here and will continue, we love him very much and we hope that Kubo will stay at La Real forever,” he added.

Real Sociedad are set to lose both Robin Le Normand and Mikel Merino this summer and will be desperate to avoid further high-profile departures.
