Salah on the death of Ahmed Refaat: May God give patience to his family and loved ones
Mohamed Salah wrote on his Facebook account: “To God we belong and to Him we shall return. May God grant patience to his family and all his loved ones.”
Modern Sport Club announced this morning the death of Ahmed Refaat, the first team football player, at the age of 31.
Ahmed Refaat passed away after a difficult journey of struggle with illness, after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing with his team against Al-Ittihad Alexandria, in the championship. Egyptian Leaguelast March.
Ahmed Refaat was transferred to a hospital in Alexandria at the time, where he was saved and brought back to life. He then left the hospital in April to complete his treatment under medical observation, but at home.
The late Ahmed Refaat previously played for Enppi, Zamalek, Al-Ittihad Alexandria, Al-Masry Port Said and Al-Wahda Emirates clubs.
