According to a report published by Liverpool Echo Liverpool’s management is considering the idea of contracting with English winger Eberechi Eze, the Crystal Palace star, in the event that Salah leaves.
Liverpool’s management is seeking to reach an agreement with Salah regarding extending the contract between the two parties, but the management is considering all possible scenarios.
Liverpool will not be alone in the race to sign Eze, especially with Manchester United also on the list of interested parties.
The report indicated that Eze has a penalty clause in his contract with Crystal Palace amounting to 68 million pounds, which can be activated in 2025.
The coming period will answer the question about the identity of the club that will win the race to sign Eze in the event that he leaves Crystal Palace.
Eze is 26 years old, and is good at playing in the attacking midfielder position. His contract with Crystal Palace ends in June 2027.
Eze played for Crystal Palace in 128 matches in all competitions, scoring 28 goals.
