Will Chiesa leave Juventus in the summer?
According to a report published by Football Italia, citing Sport Italia, Napoli and Juventus are close to reaching an agreement regarding concluding a swap deal.
Under the proposed deal, Chiesa will move to Napoli, while Giovanni Di Lorenzo will join Juventus.
The report indicated that the deal would be ideal for all parties involved. On the one hand, Di Lorenzo expressed more than once his desire to leave Napoli in the summer.
On the other hand, Juventus coach Thiago Motta does not see star Chiesa as part of his philosophy for the Juventus squad during the coming season.
It is worth noting that the market value of Chiesa and Di Lorenzo is in the range of 25-30 million euros, which makes the chances of concluding the deal very high.
Chiesa is 26 years old and is good at playing on the left attacking wing. His contract with Juventus expires in June 2025.
Di Lorenzo is 30 years old and is good at playing as a right-back, and his contract with Napoli expires in June 2028.
