According to the Italian “Calciomercato” website, Juventus aims to sign Spanish international Alvaro Morata, the Atletico Madrid striker, in exchange for Moise Kean’s transfer to the Rojiblancos ranks.

Calciomercato added that the release clause in Morata’s contract currently amounts to 12 million euros.

The Italian website stressed that Parma, Bologna and Fiorentina are interested in including the Old Lady striker, but the player’s salary, which currently amounts to about 3 million euros per season, is considered too high for these clubs.

Calciomercato indicated that it is also possible that the Spanish striker will need to reduce his salary in order to join the Old Lady, as he receives 12 million euros as an annual salary.

The Italian website concluded that Morata could be persuaded to accept approximately half of his current salary to join Juventus.

Juventus was close to sending Kane on loan to Atletico Madrid last January, before the deal collapsed.

Morata’s contract with the Rojiblancos extends until June 2026.
