viagramof – It seems that Barcelona is ready to sign Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny

viagramof – Barcelona appear set to sign former Poland, Juventus and Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on a free transfer in the coming days.

The Catalan team received the green light from the Polish goalkeeper, and is currently working on reaching an agreement with Juventus to pay 2 million euros as a settlement.

The Polish goalkeeper has been working on his fitness since Monday when he realised he could be an option for the Blaugrana, and is currently training in Marbella while waiting for the deal to be confirmed. His aim is to regain fitness as soon as possible and be ready for the Sevilla game after the international break as the first match he could return to.

Possibility of registering Szczesny in Barcelona’s Champions League squad

There was some doubt over whether Flick would stick with Iñaki Pena as number one, or switch to Szczesny once he was available, but Marca says the club have registered Pena and Marc-Andre ter Stegen on their Champions League squad, with Ander Astralaga and Diego Koscielny part of their youth B list, allowing them an extra slot that could be used to register Szczesny.
