According to a statement by the Egyptian Football Association, Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, summoned Mahmoud Saber, the Smouha midfielder, to the Pharaohs’ list in order to prepare for the two matches with Mauritania.
In a context related to news about the Egyptian national team, the statement revealed details of the injury of Nabil Imad “Dunga,” the Zamalek club midfielder, after feeling pain in his back muscle after the tests he underwent.
He added that the Zamalek club midfielder will not play in the first match against Mauritania, scheduled for next Friday, provided that he is prepared for the second match, October 15th.
Egypt leads the third group in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, with 6 points, while Mauritania is third with 3 points.
