Egypt’s expected lineup for today’s match against Botswana
Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, intends to push Osama Faisal, the Al-Ahly Bank striker, to lead the Pharaohs’ attack alongside Mohamed Salah and Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, after Mostafa Mohamed was injured in the match against Cape Verde last Friday.
The Egyptian national team lineup to face Botswana will be as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shenawy.
Defense: Mohamed Hany, Hamdy Fathy, Ramy Rabia, Mohamed Hamdy.
Midfield: Marawan Attia, Mohamed Elneny, Ahmed Mostafa Zizo.
Attack: Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Mohamed Salah and Osama Faisal.
The Egyptian national team defeated Cape Verde 3-0 last Friday in the first round of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Egyptian national team is in Group 3 of the qualifiers, alongside the national teams of Botswana, Mauritania and Cape Verde.
