According to a report published by British Mirror newspaper Max Eberl, Bayern Munich’s sporting director, admitted that the club is finding it difficult to reach a new contract with Musiala.

The report indicated that the German player’s agents are requesting a weekly salary of 300,000 pounds, to be equal to the salary of top scorer Harry Kane.

Musiala is attracting the attention of Manchester United and City, as well as Real Madrid, the most successful club in Europe.

The report quoted a statement by Bayern Munich President Herbert Hainer, who said: “Many say that Musiala will be the best player in the world one day.”

He continued: “We will do everything possible to ensure that he continues with Bayern Munich for a long time.”

“Musiala could easily be the new Thomas Muller and play here for the next 20 years,” Hainer added.

He continued: “I am very optimistic that we will see him at Bayern for a long time to come.”

Musiala’s current contract with Bayern Munich expires in June 2026, which means that Bayern Munich must sell him next summer to avoid losing him for free if a new contract is not reached.
