viagramof – French Laurent Blanc, the technical director of the first football team at Al-Ittihad Jeddah Club, has decided on the position of Hamed Al-Ghamdi, the team’s midfielder, to participate in the friendly match against Real Betis of Spain, scheduled for next Saturday.
Al-Ghamdi is expected to participate against Real Betis
Coach Blanc decided to give Al-Ghamdi a number of minutes during the Real Betis match, after he joined the group training on July 23.
Al-Ghamdi had completed his rehabilitation program for his adductor muscle injury, which he had undergone over the past weeks, and gradually participated in the maneuvers.
Al-Ghamdi was on the bench for Al-Ittihad during the last friendly match against the Portuguese club Varense, which was cancelled after fistfights between some players and a crowd jostling behind the bench, which forced the referee, in the 87th minute, to blow the final whistle before its scheduled time.
The Al-Ittihad team held its morning training today, Friday, at the club’s camp headquarters in Portugal, led by Blanc, and included some fitness and technical aspects, according to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh.
