viagramof – Former Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny and Zamalek star Ahmed Sayed Zizo have joined the Egyptian Olympic team camp in preparation for the Paris Olympics.
Micale welcomes the joining of Elneny and Zizo
The technical staff of the Olympic team, led by Brazilian Rogerio Micale, had been satisfied with including Elneny and Zizo as an over-age duo on the list of the “Young Pharaohs” to participate in the Paris Olympics, which will be held during the current month of July.
Mikali welcomed the joining of Elneny and Zizo after their arrival to the Olympic team camp to prepare for the Olympic Games.
The Olympic team, under the leadership of its coach, Mikali, is holding a closed camp in Cairo, which will conclude next Wednesday.
The Egyptian Olympic team will leave for the French city of Bordeaux to play two friendly matches against Ukraine and Iraq on July 14 and 17 before traveling to the city of Nantes in preparation for the first official match against the Dominican Republic, scheduled for the 24th of this month.
The Egyptian Olympic team is in Group 3 of the Paris Olympics, along with Spain, Uzbekistan and the Dominican Republic.
