Reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the deal is worth £27.5m, with Liverpool retaining 17.5% of any future sale.
Carvalho is 21 years old and is good at playing as an attacking midfielder. He previously played for Fulham and Hull City in England and Leipzig in Germany, but his experience with Liverpool remains the most prominent in his career.
Carvalho played with Liverpool in 21 matches in all competitions, scoring 3 goals, and won the Charity Shield with the Reds in the 2022/2023 season.
He also won the German Super Cup with Leipzig and the English Premier League (second division) with Fulham.
