Walid Saeed, a journalist for Okaz newspaper, wrote on his account on the social networking site “X” this evening, Wednesday: “Today, the professional Riyad Mahrez arrived in Jeddah after completing his national mission with his country’s national team and is participating in the team’s training in preparation for the Gulf match next Friday.”
Mahrez was with the Algerian national team in the matches against Togo, in the third and fourth rounds of the qualifiers for the finals of the African Cup of Nations in Morocco 2025.
He will stand Al-Ahly team To play the Gulf match, which will be held at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium, next Friday evening, as part of the seventh round of the Saudi Roshan Professional League Championship.
