Al-Ittihad rejects the departure of Benzema, Kante and Fabinho
According to what was published by the Saudi newspaper “Al-Youm”, the management of Al-Ittihad Club decided to continue the trio of French players Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Brazilian Fabinho, and to reject any offers that will reach them this summer, due to the team’s need for them during the next season.
The newspaper indicated that Al-Ittihad Club is awaiting offers for the rest of the foreign players, such as Jota, Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, Ahmed Hegazy and Luis Felipe, in order for them to leave during the current summer transfer period.
Louay Nazer, president of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club, recently stated that he wants to resolve the file of the new coach, the deals and the departing players before the start of the team’s camp, in mid-July.
Officials of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club have been negotiating with several players recently in order to strengthen the team’s ranks this summer, most notably the Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, the Manchester City playmaker, and the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger.
