The match between Al-Ahly of Egypt and Al-Ain of the Emirates is scheduled to take place at Cairo International Stadium on October 29.
The winner of the match between Al Ahly of Egypt and Al Ain of the Emirates will meet the winner of the match between Pachuca of Mexico and the yet-to-be-determined Copa Libertadores champion in the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Cup, and whoever advances from the match will face Real Madrid of Spain, the European Champions League champion, in the final match.
Al-Ahly Club won the African Champions League title for the twelfth time in its history, by defeating Esperance Sportive de Tunis in the final match of the last edition.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly Club will face Zamalek next Friday in the African Super Cup final, at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
