Al-Ahly Club explained, through its account on the social networking site “X”, that Daniel Nesbitt, former head of the physical performance and nutrition department at the English club Bristol, has been appointed head of the performance department in the team.
Al-Ahly’s account wrote: “Al-Ahly Club Company supports the technical staff of the first football team by appointing Daniel Nesbitt as head of the performance department.”
He pointed out Alahli football clubDaniel Nesbitt served as Head of Physical Performance and Nutrition at English club Maddie Bristol from 2016 to 2019, and then became a leader in the FA’s Physical Performance Coaches Programme from 2016 to 2023.
He alluded to Nesbitt working as head of the strength and physical conditioning department at the English club Swansea, and also holding the position of head of the performance services department at the Welsh Football Association.

It is worth noting that Al-Ahly Club announced the appointment of John Fearn as Head of Physiotherapy, after he worked as a Physiotherapist for the first team at the English club West Ham, and also served as Head of the Medical Services Department at Reading FC.
