Imam scored the equaliser in the 45th minute moments before the end of the first half, saving the team from going out behind in the middle of the match.

Arnold Adrian Eba, Modern Sport player, scored the opening goal for his team in the 26th minute through an individual effort after dribbling past a number of Al-Ahly players before putting the ball into the net of Mohamed El-Shennawy, the Red Devils goalkeeper.

Afsha managed to score a wonderful goal early in the 7th minute of the match with a rocket shot, but the referee cancelled the goal due to a foul by his teammate Wissam Abu Ali against the opposing defender.
