Kohler recommends Al-Ahly to negotiate with the Swiss League trio
Swiss Marcel Koller, Al-Ahly coach, asked the club’s officials to include a new foreign striker alongside Palestinian Wissam Abu Ali.
Striker Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba is close to leaving Al-Ahly to play professionally in the Saudi League next season.
Al-Ahly club’s name was linked to 3 attacking elements in the Swiss league, namely; Congolese Silver Ganvola, a player for Swiss club Young Boys, his teammate Elijah Mischak, and Zurich player Jonathan Okita.
Egyptian reports indicated that Al-Ahly Young Boys and FC Zurich have been inquired about signing one of the trio this summer, and negotiations are welcome.
Reports indicated that Kohler is closely following the Swiss League and is the one who requested to negotiate with this trio, to support the attacking line, especially with the approaching departure of Mahmoud Kahraba.
Kohler is looking forward to securing the Red Team’s attacking line after the departure of French striker Anthony Modeste, and the approaching professionalism of Kahraba.
