Al-Ahly bears third-class tickets in the match against Pyramids
Al-Ahly club said in its official statement today: “Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, directed this morning, after the offer and the approval of the board of directors, to send a letter to the Professional Clubs Association, requesting that it contact Pyramids Club to communicate with “Tazkarti” company to enable Al-Ahly Club to pay the full financial value of the third-class tickets “right” allocated to Al-Ahly fans in the Pyramids match in the league championship, scheduled for next Monday at the Air Defense Stadium.”
“The letter that was already sent stated that due to the ticket prices that were announced under difficult economic conditions, the club will pay the value of the 7,500 tickets for the third class (right) that Al-Ahly fans purchased, and the amounts collected will be returned to their owners from the fans, and the club will also bear all financial fees incurred in returning the price of these tickets,” he added.
He continued: “The club had previously sent a letter to the association on July 13, informing them of its decision to reduce the price of a third-class ticket for all upcoming matches owned by the club to 50 pounds, and because this amount is less than the cost of the ticket, it was decided that the club would bear the financial difference due to the Ticket Company in this regard, in order to ease the burden on Al-Ahly fans.”
It is noteworthy that Pyramids Club has set the ticket prices for its match against Al-Ahly at 200 pounds for the third class, 2,000 pounds for the first class, and 5,000 pounds for VIP visitors.
