Al-Ahly agrees to Dieng’s departure
According to what was published by Al-Ahram newspaper, Al-Ahly club management is awaiting the arrival of an offer from one of the Saudi teams to include Malian Aliou Dieng this summer.
The newspaper indicated that Aliou Dieng received a promise from Al-Ahly club officials to make him professional as soon as an official offer arrives, in exchange for a large sum of money.
The newspaper stressed that Swiss Marcel Kohler, coach of Al-Ahly club, agreed to the departure of any foreign player this summer if a suitable financial offer was received, in exchange for contracting a replacement for him.
Al-Ahly club had signed Mali Aliou Dieng in the summer of 2019 from Mouloudia Algiers for one million and 100 thousand dollars.
According to other press reports, Al-Ahly club management wants to obtain $5 million, at least, in order to dispense with the services of financial player Aliou Dieng in the summer.
