He explained Alahli football clubIn his statement on Saturday evening, Al-Khelaifi was keen to congratulate Al-Khatib on Al-Ahly’s qualification for the 2025 Club World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in the United States of America.
Al-Khelaifi’s invitation to Al-Khatib read: “Dear Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, I wanted to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Al-Ahly Club on your wonderful achievement in qualifying for the 2025 Club World Cup.”
“This outstanding achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all those working at the club. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the European Club Association, I am also pleased to invite you to attend the 31st General Assembly of the European Club Association, which will be held in Athens, Greece from 8-10/10/2024,” he added.
“We are proud that this ECA General Assembly will be the largest in our history, and this is an opportunity to engage extensively with club owners, senior executives and stakeholders, to discuss the most important issues facing club football and formulate a shared vision for the future,” he added.
