According to what was published by the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper, Frenchman N’Golo Kante, the Al-Ittihad club midfielder, is close to returning to group training, after making great strides in his rehabilitation program.
The newspaper indicated that N’Golo Kante, the Al-Ittihad midfielder, continued his rehabilitation program yesterday, Thursday, while the rest of the players underwent a varied training session under the leadership of French coach Laurent Blanc.
Frenchman N’Golo Kante suffered a connective muscle injury, which caused him to miss Al-Ittihad’s 2-1 victory over Al-Akhdood, in the sixth round of the league championship.
The newspaper explained that Frenchman N’Golo Kante will join Al-Ittihad Club’s group training in the coming days, and it is likely that he will return to participate with Al-Ameed against Al-Qadisiyah, on October 19, in the seventh round of the Roshen League competition.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ittihad Club is runner-up in the Saudi Professional League Championship with 15 points from 5 wins and one loss, which was at the hands of Al-Hilal by three goals to one goal.
