According to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadhiyah”, the German Matthias Jaissle, the coach of Al-Ahly Club, has full support from the management and players to remain in his position, adding that the option of dismissing him is not on the table.
The newspaper explained that Matthias Jaissle imposed a training session yesterday on the Al-Ahly players, after he had previously decided to grant him leave, following the loss to Al-Jandal by two goals to one in the round of 32 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
The newspaper stressed that Matthias Jaissle’s decision to have the players participate in a training session yesterday came as a reaction to the loss against Al-Jandal and in order to correct the situation with them.
The newspaper confirmed that Matthias Jaissle will hold a meeting with Al-Ahly players before the team starts today in order to talk more precisely about the loss to Al-Jandal and correct the situation in the upcoming matches.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly Club will face Al-Qadisiyah next Friday in the fifth round of the Saudi Professional League.
