viagramof – A press report revealed today an exciting crisis that has hit the Saudi Al-Nasr club, before facing the Iraqi police tomorrow, in the first round of Group 1 of the AFC Champions League for the elite.
Al-Nasr trains in the gym due to the lack of readiness of the police stadium
According to what was published by the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadhiyah”, Al-Nasr Club refused to hold its training sessions on an alternative stadium to the International City Stadium in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital, in preparation for facing Al-Shorta tomorrow.
The newspaper pointed out that the Asian Football Confederation officials informed Al-Nasr Club that the match stadium cannot handle training and will only be ready for tomorrow’s match, due to it undergoing maintenance work a few days ago.
The newspaper explained that the Asian Football Confederation offered Al-Nasr to hold its training sessions on another field, but the team’s management preferred not to hold them and to limit training to the gym at the mission’s residence.
The Saudi Al-Nassr Club delegation arrived in Iraq today to meet Al-Shorta tomorrow at the international stadium in Baghdad, without captain Cristiano Ronaldo due to his illness with a viral infection.
