The Czech national team drew 1-1 with Georgia this Saturday in the second round of the Group F European Championship (Euro 2024) which is currently being held in Germany.
Both teams suffered defeats in the first round and the Czech team got the first point, losing 1-2 to Portugal, while Georgia lost to Turkey 1-3.
The result of the tournament became historic for the national team of Georgia, which got the first point in the European Championship, where it participated for the first time in its history.

The Georgia team took the lead in the 4th minute of stoppage time through Giorgi Mikoutaze’s free kick and Patrik Chek equalized for the Czech team in the 58th minute.
The Czech team will meet their Turkish counterparts in the third round of Group F next Wednesday, when Georgia plays Portugal.
