Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr. has been named the best player in the last European Champions League after helping Real Madrid win their 15th Spanish title.

UEFA announced on Monday that its technical committee had chosen the Brazilian international as the best player of the Champions League season.

The Brazilian scored six goals, including one against German club Borussia Dortmund (2-0) in the final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

“I’m happy to win another Champions League title with the club,” said Vinicius (23), who won his second trophy in his first continental competition. Most players don’t practice this.

Vinicius made 10 appearances for the Royals and played 901 minutes, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists. It covered 34.7 kilometers with a top speed of 99.3 kilometers per hour.

The best young player of the 2023-2024 Champions League

The continental confederation has announced that Real Madrid international midfielder Jude Bellingham has been named the tournament’s best young player.

In his first season with the White Club, the famous international won his first continental title, defeating his former team in the final.

The twenty-year-old said, “It has always been my dream to take part in these matches. “It was the most beautiful night of my life.”

Bellingham has made 11 Champions League appearances this season, totaling 993 minutes, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. Passing success rate reached 90.5% and 117.5 km.
