Saudi 360 – The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued a financial penalty against Argentine Marcelo Gallardo, coach of the Al-Ittihad team.
Gallardo was fined for his absence from the Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr conference
The Disciplinary Committee decided to fine Marcelo Gallardo by paying an amount of 52,500 thousand Saudi riyals to the Football Association, a decision subject to appeal in accordance with Article (144) of the Committee’s regulations.
The decision comes after Gallardo was absent from the press conference after the end of the Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr match, according to what was stated in the media official’s report.
And a team lost the Unionagainst Al-Nasr, with a score of four goals to two, last Monday, in the thirty-fourth round of the Saudi Roshen Professional League competition.

Al-Ittihad team ended its season in fifth place in the Saudi Roshen League standings with 54 points.
Gallardo returned to Argentina yesterday after concluding his season with Al-Ittihad, amid reports of negotiations about terminating his contract.
