Saudi 360 – Today, Friday, the Asian Football Confederation issued major financial sanctions against the Saudi Al-Nasr Club and its Portuguese player, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The AFC punishes Al-Nasr and Ronaldo

The Asian Confederation imposed financial sanctions on… AL-Nasser club Ronaldo, for violating the regulations and wearing a player’s trademark during the press conference of the match against Al Ain in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Continental Federation decided to fine Cristiano Ronaldo $15,000, in addition to $7,500 from the Saudi club for aggressive and violent behavior by members of the technical staff after the final whistle of the match.

The Asian Football Confederation also warned Cristiano Ronaldo that repeating the previous violation again would result in a more severe penalty being imposed on him.

Al-Nasr team bid farewell to the last edition of the AFC Champions League after losing to Al-Ain of the Emirates on penalties in the quarter-finals.
