Saudi 360 – Sports commentator Fahd Al-Otaibi sent a letter of apology to Abdul Rahman Al-Sanabi

Saudi 360 – Sports commentator Fahd Al-Otaibi sent a letter of apology to Abdul Rahman Al-Sanabi, Al-Ahly’s goalkeeper, after his dramatic comment on the goal of Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic, Al-Hilal’s striker, in the El Clásico match, which ended with “Blue” winning 2-1, on Saturday night.

Mitrovic scored the penalty kick, which was returned to give his team the advantage in the result, to which Al-Otaibi commented, saying: “Who is my son, uncle? Mitrovic is everyone’s uncle.”

Fahd Al-Otaibi: I apologize to Al-Sanabi and I did not intend to offend

Al-Otaibi wrote through his account on the “X” social media platform: “Since I started commenting until today, God is my witness. I have never intended to insult any club, player, stadium or viewer.”

He continued: “I fully admit that I was not successful in describing the second goal against Al-Sanby, and just as Al-Sanby, Al-Ahly’s goalkeeper, deserved all the praise, he also deserved this apology before you and all the best wishes for him for a great career, God willing.”

He continued: “I very much understand your great anger towards the matter, and thanks to everyone who corrected my mistake and thought well, and may God forgive everyone who was offended, and all the stands of all colors remain with all appreciation and respect.”
