Saudi 360 – Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira, Al-Shabab coach, defended his Moroccan striker Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, who missed a decisive penalty kick that was enough to save his team from losing to Al-Nasr, in yesterday’s match.

Al-Shabab team lost to its guest Al-Nasr by two goals to one, in the match that was held for the seventh round of the Saudi Roshan League Championship.

Al-Nasr team was able to score its second goal through Cristiano Ronaldo from a penalty kick in the 97th minute, while Moroccan Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah missed a youth penalty in the 90th + 13th minute.

Pereira: Thank God he did not succeed in the penalty kick

Pereira said in his remarks following the end of Al-Shabab vs Victory“Hamdallah performed exceptionally well during the match, but the penalty kick had a great element of luck. He executed it well but was unsuccessful.”

He added: “Hamdallah was serious, but he did not succeed. He is undoubtedly a great player, and Cristiano Ronaldo, the great player, misses penalty kicks.”

The youth coach continued, stressing that his team deserved to win a draw, adding: “We believe in winning and losing, but football is unfair.”
