FC Barcelona – Spanish League

Saudi 360 – Frenchman Clemont Lenglet, Barcelona defender loaned to Aston Villa, received an offer from the Saudi Al-Ittihad to sign him this summer.

Lenglet rejects an offer from Al-Ittihad Club

Al-Ittihad Club is seeking to strengthen its defense line with a strong foreign deal during the summer transfer market period, after settling on the departure of Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy.

The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” revealed that Lenglet rejected an offer he received from Union Club Saudi.

The Spanish newspaper indicated that Lenglet’s plan was to continue in Europe, and therefore he did not accept the Saudi offer presented to him.

Lenglet will return to Barcelona on July 1, after the end of his loan period to Aston Villa, as the English club did not show interest in activating the option to purchase the player.

Lenglet joined Barcelona in the summer of 2018 from Sevilla, and the player spent a loan period with Tottenham Hotspur in the 2022/23 season.

It is noteworthy that Lenglet is linked to a contract valid with Barcelona until the summer of 2026, and his market value is 10 million euros, according to the Transfermarkt website.
