Ivan Toney: The victory match was not easy
Al-Ahly team came out with an exciting draw against Al-Nasr, with a goal for each, in the match that was held within the third round of the Saudi Roshen League, at the “Al-Awal Park” stadium.
Ivan Toney made his official debut with My family Jeddah In front of Al-Nasr yesterday, after joining in the summer from Brentford, England.
“It was a very difficult match, it was never easy and we tried to get the three points and in the last minutes we lost two points, and we have to keep working,” Toni told the media after the match.
Tony continued, regarding his impression after his first official match with Al-Ahly: “There is no difference. I found a warm welcome from everyone, and I am looking forward to this experience.”
Al-Ahly took the lead with a first goal by its Ivorian player, Franck Kessie, in the 57th minute, before Al-Nasr equalized with a fatal goal scored by Bassam Al-Hariji, by mistake, in his own goal in the 90+9 minute.
