Saudi 360 – Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic is leaving Al-Shabab Saudi Club for Hajduk Split during the current summer transfer window.
Rakitic moves to Hajduk Split
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on his account on the social networking platform “X” that Rakitic will join Hajduk Split under a two-year contract, until June 2026.
Romano pointed out that Akitich is leaving the youth ranks despite spending a good time in Saudi Arabia.
He added that Rakitic wanted to seize the opportunity to play in Croatia and was enthusiastic about the move because of the presence of Kalinic as a manager, Perisic as a colleague, and Gattuso as a coach.

Rakitic, 36, joined Al-Shabab in January 2024 from Sevilla, where he signed with the Lions until June 2025.
Rakitic played 8 matches with the Saudi Al-Shabab team last season, and contributed to scoring one goal and creating another.
