Saudi press reports indicated earlier that Al-Hilal and Al-Ahly are competing to sign Aoun Al-Salouli this summer.

According to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadhiyah”, the Al-Taawoun management will meet to discuss the future of Aoun Al-Salouli after one of the company’s clubs expressed its desire to include the player.

The same source stated that the Al-Taawoun management does not refuse to sell Aoun Al-Salouli’s contract, which expires in 2027, provided that an appropriate financial value is obtained for the deal or a financial sum, in addition to local players.

Al-Saloli started his career with Al-Ittihad and progressed through the age groups until he reached the first team. He then moved to Al-Fayha on loan, and from there he joined Al-Taawoun.

Al-Salouli, 25, joined Al-Taawoun in the summer of 2021, and his contract was recently renewed to continue until 2027. The player played 61 matches with the “Al-Sukari” jersey, according to the Transfer Market website.
