Saudi 360 – Al-Ittihad Club revealed today, Saturday, that it has signed a contract with Venezuelan midfielder Bryant Ortega for 3 years, as part of the strategy of attracting young talents and working to develop them to support the first team or benefit from them as an investment.

Al-Ittihad loans its player Ortega to Jeddah

Ortega, 21, joins Al-Ittihad from Caracas, Venezuela.

The Federation followed Ortega’s career well, which saw him secure a place in the Caracas team, playing 75 matches in all tournaments, in addition to representing Venezuela’s youth teams, and being recently called up to the first team list.

And decided Al-Ittihad ClubOrtega was loaned to Jeddah for one season 2024-25 and represented in the Saudi First Division League.

Al-Ittihad’s contract with Ortega took advantage of the rule allowing each club in the Saudi Roshen League to sign two foreign players born in 2003 or less.

The young Venezuelan Ortega is good at playing in a defensive or offensive midfield position.

It is noteworthy that Al-Ittihad Club signed three major foreign players during the summer transfer window, namely Algerian Houssem Aouar from Roma, French Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa, and Serbian Rajkovic, Mallorca goalkeeper.
