Lionel Messi joins Argentina squad to face Ecuador and Guatemala in friendly
Lionel Messi has joined Argentina’s squad for a friendly against Ecuador and Guatemala ahead of their Copa America defense next month, while Roma star Paulo Dybala has left the squad.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni announced the list of 29 players until June 12 to reduce the list to 26 players to participate in the Copa America.
Argentina, the world champion, will meet Ecuador in a friendly match in Chicago on the 9th of next month and Guatemala in Maryland 5 days later.
Argentina’s national team will begin their Copa America defense campaign on June 20 with Canada, followed by Chile and Peru in Group A.
