Germany is preparing to host Euro 2024 from June 14 to July 14.

The German team consists of 27 players, including black players.

The German channel ARD conducted a survey of 1,304 randomly selected people and found that 21% of those who took part in the survey said that more white-skinned players would prefer to play at the German level.

“This is not an issue in the team, anyone who grew up in football knows that,” the midfielder said in a press conference.

He added: “Football unites people of different skin colors and religions and that’s it. I’d miss a lot of players if they weren’t here. This is absolute racism, and it has no place among our team.”

He continued, “When you think that we are going to organize the European Cup on our soil, the goal is to unite the whole country, and it is ridiculous to raise such a question.”

“It’s about achieving great things together,” he said. As a team we are trying to get everyone in Germany behind us.

The Bayern Munich player is speaking at Herzogen and Rauch, where the German national team has a training camp to prepare for the upcoming European Championship “Euro 2024”.

The German national team will play in Group A at Euro 2024, which includes Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland, with the opening match between Germany and Scotland.
