French striker Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence on his next destination after finally announcing it.

French striker Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence on his next destination after announcing his departure from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain two weeks ago.

Mbappe played his 307th and final game for Saint-Germain as they beat Olympique Lyonnais 2-1 to win the French Cup.

Mbappe brought down the curtain on his 14th domestic championship with Saint Germain, winning 6 leagues, 4 French Cups, 2 League Cups and 3 Champions Leagues.

All press reports and hints confirm that Mbappe will be moving to Real Madrid next summer on a 5-year contract.

“I’m very happy to finish the season with a trophy,” said the French striker after the match.

Mbappe did not deny that he signed for the Spanish league champion. A journalist asked why you did not talk about signing for Real Madrid. I had to say goodbye to my team and end the season on a high note.

He added: “I will announce the new club in a few days… no problem.”

“I don’t know yet, because some details are still missing,” replied Mbappe on the possibility of announcing his new club after joining the France camp in preparation for the European Championship (Euro 2024).

The details Mbappé wants appear to be Paris Saint-Germain’s deal for Real Madrid to sign him as a new player before the start of Euro 2024.

The Royal Club does not have the right to do this without the recognition of Paris, because the player has a contract at the “Parc des Princes” until next June 30.

The player, who left Paris Saint-Germain as the club’s all-time top scorer with 256 goals and 108 assists in 307 games, said: “I haven’t got anywhere near what I have here, but there will be other things and I know that.” It’s going to be great.”

In the year Mbappe, who joined Saint-Germain from Monaco in 2017, had his contract extended from 2022 to 2024 but refused to activate a clause that would have kept him at Parc des Princes for another year last summer.
