Chelsea FC announced the resignation of Argentine coach Mauricio on Tuesday

Chelsea FC announced on Tuesday that they have sacked Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino after less than 11 months in charge.

The Blues explained that it was an agreement between the two sides after the team finished the English Premier League season in sixth place.

The decision to sack Pochettino (52) comes after a comprehensive internal review of the results of the 2023-2024 season. Pochettino has spent one season coaching Chelsea, but the team failed to qualify for the Champions League, but will participate in the European Conference League.

In addition to finishing sixth in the English Premier League, Chelsea lost in the League Cup final and were eliminated from the FA Cup semi-finals.
