before the Bavarian team faces Real Madrid in the second leg before the Champions League final this week, while Borussia Dortmund crushed its guest Augsburg 5-1 in an ideal experience. Before facing Saint-Germain in Paris in the same round.

Bayern, which occupies second place with 69 points, two points behind Stuttgart, third in the standings, with two games to go, will visit Real Madrid next Wednesday after a 2-2 draw in Munich.

The loss deepened the wounds of coach Thomas Tuchel’s team, who will leave the team at the end of the season.

It also ended speculation about the possibility of Tuchel continuing in his position after the team under his command reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and some candidates refused to succeed him in charge.

The result capped off a wonderful season for Stuttgart, which equaled the best winning streak in its career in one season with 21 wins.

Stuttgart deservedly took the lead thanks to Leonidas Stergio’s shot over goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in the 29th minute after wasting three golden opportunities.

Bayern equalized from a penalty kick scored by Harry Kane in the 37th minute, scoring his 36th goal in the league this season.

Kane is 5 goals away from the record for goals in one season set by Robert Lewandowski in 2021.

But substitute Jung Woo-young beat Neuer to put his team ahead in the 84th minute, before Silas (25 years old) wrapped up the scoring with a low shot in stoppage time.

Dortmund crushes Augsburg before facing Saint-Germain

In another match in the same round in the German League, Borussia Dortmund defeated its guest Augsburg 5-1, in an ideal experience before facing Saint-Germain in Paris in the second leg before the Champions League final.

Dortmund, which will face Saint-Germain next Tuesday after winning 1-0 in the first leg in Germany last Wednesday, enjoyed a strong start with three goals in the first 29 minutes.

Youssef Moukoko scored two goals, and Donyell Malen added a goal between them in the 20th minute, as Dortmund decided the match early.

Augsburg reduced the gap in the 32nd minute through Swiss Ruben Vargas, but the home side restored the three-goal difference through Marco Reus – who will leave the club after 12 years at the end of the season – in the 34th minute.

He sent his second assist to Felix Nmecha to make it 5-1 in the 64th minute.

Dortmund, which has guaranteed qualification for the Champions League next season, is in fifth place with 60 points, three points behind Leipzig, who is in fourth place.
