Australia scored full points in the second place of the double qualification

Australia qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup after defeating the Palestinian national team 5-0.

Australia have moved up to 18 points from six games over the Palestine national team. Both teams are guaranteed to qualify for the Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia and play in the third place for the World Cup qualifiers in North America.
