Arsenal fan, who finished second in the English Premier League last season, has been banned for 3 years.

An Arsenal fan, who finished second in the Premier League last season, was banned from football for three years after headbutting former Manchester United star and current Sky Sports commentator Roy Keane.

Scott Lowe (43) was convicted of assaulting Kane during Arsenal’s 3-1 win over United at the Emirates Stadium on 3 September.

In addition to being suspended from football, Law was ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and pay $830 in legal costs and victim surcharges.

Kane and TV commentator Micah Richards were on their way from the analysis studio to the stadium when the attack happened, a London court heard.

Former Republic of Ireland midfielder Kane was headbutted by the law and some doors fell.

The legal defense team said surveillance camera footage from the stadium showed Kane elbowing the defendant in the face.

Kane, 52, told the court: “I was just walking and I was hit. “I felt a collision and hit some doors.”

He continued, “I didn’t expect I was in shock at all,” confirming that he suffered injuries to his chest and arms.

“He pointed at me and asked me to see him outside,” said Kane, who was sitting under the Sky Sports studios at the game.

Law said he entered the stadium, went to the bathroom and was confronted by Kane, who “bumped into me” and “defensively put my head down to protect my face.”

Prosecutor Simon Jones said Lowe’s “absurd” defense had “changed dramatically” from what he told police the day after the incident.

District Judge Angus Hamilton, in making his decision, said he believed Law was “untrue to what happened” during the match and said “Mr Law is certain that he hit Mr Keane”.
